Super Pro.Stick

DESCRIPTION:
This Special Version is designed to work with any IBM PC Compatible system as a
fully programmable mini keyboard. Connection to the system is very easy -
simply plug the Super Pro.Stick connector (5-pin DIN or optional PS/2 adapter)
into the system Keyboard Input Port & the Keyboard connector into the
Pro.Stick auxiliary Input Port. That is It ! No special software or additional
drivers are required. All Push Buttons (including the Joystick directional
functions) can be individually assigned to be "any" key from the main Keyboard.

 The
unique built-in Controller Menu can be activated while in Windows Notepad or
Wordpad (Note that the Num Lock function must be turned OFF) -
Hold down [SELECT] & Press [START], then release both
buttons. In this Menu mode, the main Keyboard is Disabled to prevent the PC
from reacting to keystrokes and executing Windows functions (such as Help for
[F1] key). A complete layout of all buttons on the Super Pro.Stick is
displayed, as well as their current Default Keyboard key assignments -
(*) indicates the current default setting. There are seven (7) different
settings possible - by default, all odd settings (#1,#3,#5 & #7) are
assigned as Street Fighter II buttons layout for Player 1 and all even settings
(#2,#4 & #6) as Street Fighter II buttons layout for Player
2.
Procedure to Assign Keyboard Keys to
Push Buttons :
- Select a Default
Setting : Hold down [SELECT] & Press a Push Button [P1]
through [P7] and then release both. [P1] is setting #1,
[P2] is setting #2, and so on...(the default (*) symbol will be
displayed below the setting number to indicate the current
selection
- Assign a Push
Button to a Keyboard Key :Press & Hold Down a single Key from the
Keyboard and then Press a Controller Push Button that you want to assign the
Keyboard key to - Note that all keys are accepted by the Super Pro.Stick except
for the [Print Screen] & [Pause] keys. To register the
change, release both Push Button and Keyboard key. Repeat Step 2. for any other
or all Push Buttons for the current setting. Note that during this step, the
main Keyboard is completely "disabled" & keystrokes will not echo (display)
on the screen. To display and view the changes, go back to Step 1.
- Exit Menu mode
and Save Changes :Hold down [SELECT] & Press [P8] and
then release both to Exit the Menu mode. All changes will be saved on
non-volatile EEPROM memories - the last Default Setting selected is the current
Setting in use
- Select a Default
Setting any time :Hold down [SELECT] & Press a Push Button
[P1] through [P7] and then release both. The current active
Setting (#1-#7) is now selected. This new Setting will be saved in
EEPROM memories & now becomes the Default even after you turn the PC System
Power Off and back On. A hardcopy printout of the Menu of all settings is
recommended
This version also
allows the Joystick to be used as a Microsoft Serial Mouse (optional) by
toggling the [SELECT] button. [P1] & [P2] can be used as the
Mouse Left & Right buttons. Press [SELECT] again to return to
Keyboard Mode
